FIDIA is handmade in Marrakech, Morocco. The artwork features a zellige motif designed by Laurence.
Zellige is a coloured earthenware tile traditional to Morocco since the 10th century. The clay is kneaded, shaped into tiles, dried and fired in a kiln, all by hand. The tiles are then covered with a glass glaze, fired, and assembled into a cement-bound mosaic.
